Originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, Chandler “Brooks” received his undergraduate degree in biology from Wingate University in Wingate, North Carolina in 2011. He remained at Wingate for graduate school and completed his Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies there in 2014. It was during his PA training that Brooks completed a rotation in cardiology and found himself immediately drawn to this field. He was fortunate to be hired for his first position out of training by the group with which he completed his cardiology rotation.
